Since 2014 the Network of Educators have been working with groups of young community leaders from Guatemala and El Salvador along with S.E.R.E.S. Association.

We have provided courses and workshops on the following topics:

  • Introduction to Agroecology
  • Introduction to Permaculture Design
  • Ecology
  • Environmental Awareness

More than 100 young leaders from more than 15 rural and urban communities in Guatemala and El Salvador have participated in these courses and workshops at a low price for them.

As independent educators we have facilitated courses and workshops on various topics over the last 7 years, such as:

  • Permaculture Design
  • Introduction to Agroecology
  • Production and management of organic fertilizers
  • Design and implementation of School and Community Gardens
  • Sustainable Development Goals
  • Art and Recycling
  • Environmental education
  • Climate change

International experience:

These courses and workshops have been developed over time as independent educators since 2010. Each of us has had different experiences, worked with a variety of educational programs, non-governmental organizations, universities and collectives that work on issues of environmental education and leadership with local and foreign youth in Guatemala, El Salvador, Mexico, Peru, Bolivia, the United States and Tanzania.
